Job summary

LGT Capital Partners AG, Pfaeffikon seeks a junior professional with a strong technical background to support transforming our finance function into an AI-enabled, data-driven organization.

You will redesign processes and build automation and analytics solutions while developing finance and controlling expertise in an international asset management setting. This hands-on role emphasizes data-driven decision making and scalable reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree from a university or applied sciences in business informatics, data science, computer science, economics or finance with a strong quantitative and technical focus.
• First professional experience translating technical skills into practical business solutions in asset management or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with data and automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) and with databases or multidimensional cubes.
• Strong interest in AI-enabled ways of working and ability to develop ideas into end-to-end solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid command of the Microsoft 365 toolset.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting; experience in controlling or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn; able to collaborate across finance, IT, investment and business development teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Automate, analyze and AI-enabled redesigns to reduce manual work and strengthen controls across finance and controlling.
• Design and implement automation, analytics and AI-based solutions for faster data access and better ad-hoc responses.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with data and automation for reliability.
• Maintain and enhance management reporting with focus on relevance and automation.
• Prepare analyses, deep dives and scenario assessments to support key business decisions.
