FinOps Weekly is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist based in Switzerland. This fully remote role focuses on managing IT procurement, cloud cost optimization, and vendor relationships within a global tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and managing OPEX and CAPEX expenditures.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost management and optimization across AWS/Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, three-way matching, and basic accounting principles.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for IT products, software subscriptions, cloud services, and technology vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms to maximize value and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable related to IT procurement and ensure accurate invoice validation and payment workflows.
• Conduct financial analysis and budget planning, forecast, and plan-versus-actual reviews.
• Support FinOps initiatives by monitoring cloud spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage IT asset inventories and lifecycle records.
