Job summary

Jobgether in Switzerland seeks a Core Network Lead to design, integrate, and deploy Full MVNO core systems supporting global mobility. You will lead a small team of engineers and QA specialists, overseeing architecture through testing, commissioning, and handover in a fully remote, international environment.

You will own core network design, signalling, and regulatory compliance across markets, driving standardization, automation, and robust operational readiness for data, voice, and messaging

Qualifications

• Five+ years in mobile core networks design, integration or operation.
• Experience leading engineers/QA in agile/project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSS/HLR, policy & charging, VoLTE, and legacy voice.
• In-depth signalling know-how: Diameter, SS7, SIP; troubleshoot and integrate.
• SMS architecture, routing, interworking with operators.
• Understanding of Full MVNO architectures and host operator integrations.
• Familiarity with telecom regulatory requirements including number portability and emergency routing.
• Ability to coordinate multiple rollout streams and deliver complex integrations on time.
• Experience with integration testing, stress/testing, documentation, and handovers.
• Strong communication and collaboration across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and QA specialists.
• Establish engineering best practices, templates, automation, and documentation.
• Lead technical integrations with host operators across signalling, packet core, voice, and messaging.
• Own design, configuration, and implementation of core network components.
• Oversee Diameter, SS7, and SIP signalling work and troubleshooting.
• Ensure end-to-end service readiness for data, voice, and SMS across multi-market deployments.
• Design and validate number portability routing per market rules.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
