Zusammenfassung

Logos is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to monitor, maintain, and support production systems for our distributed church tech tools. You will join a 24/7 on-call rotation, triaging alerts and resolving incidents across our cloud stack while following established runbooks and SOPs.

You will work with IaC modules to provision and patch infrastructure, maintain observability dashboards, and improve operational documentation. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Experience responding to production alerts in a cloud environment.
• Ability to follow runbooks and SOPs with high attention to detail.
• Strong written communication in English for incident timelines and procedures.
• Functional understanding of cloud infrastructure (VMs, networking, security groups).

Aufgaben

• Respond and triage all production alerts as the primary on-call responder.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using runbooks and documentation; escalate with context when needed.
• Execute incident management procedures, including timelines and runbooks.
• Proactively monitor system health using observability dashboards and tooling.
• Track consumption against quotas and usage-based limits to prevent outages and cost overruns.
• Maintain and improve operational documentation and monitoring dashboards.
• Perform routine maintenance and provisioning using predefined IaC modules.
• Manage user access for developer tooling via ticket-based workflows.
