Job summary

Aviation JobSearch Europa is seeking Aircraft Design Engineers in Zürich to support an innovative aircraft manufacturer. The role focuses on designing mechanical components and aircraft systems, producing 3D CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with certification teams on development projects.

The position offers an initial 5-month contract with potential extension, and a possibility to work 100% remotely for suitable candidates who have access to required equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and aircraft systems per technical requirements.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and documentation.
• Review and optimise existing designs to improve functionality and performance.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and product data within PDM systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and certification specialists on development projects.
• Contribute to improvement of engineering procedures and design processes.
