Blackapple Solutions Ltd (BSL) is seeking a Release Manager / Configuration Manager for a rolling 3-month contract with our client, Wipro. The role covers build processes, CI setup, and deployment across test environments up to Production.

The candidate should have Unix scripting, SVN, and treasury CS knowledge, plus Scrum/Agile familiarity. Responsibilities include environment management and repository maintenance across multiple platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Unix scripting and admin skills required.

• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile practices.

Aufgaben

• Implement build process.
• Set up Continuous Integration infrastructure and onboard projects.
• Deploy components/applications into all test environments up to Production.
• Monitor and support all test environments up to Production.
• Test support with automatic sanity checks and deployment verification.
• Manage environments (IT, PTA) and Oracle database on JAP.
• Manage change requests on SwanXP and SNOW.
• Set up and maintain local deployments (WLS installations).
• Create and maintain deployment packages.
• Update JAP on Unix server.
• Contribute to server setup, failover concepts, and operational manuals.
• Maintain and support CVS and SVN repositories; project maintenance.
• Manage and support Sharepoint repositories and subsites.

Job Description

Role : Release Manager / Configuration Manager

Job type : Rolling Contract for 3 months initially

Requirements

• a) Unix Scripting and admin (Average)
• b) Java (basic understanding )
• c) SVN knowledge (Average)
• d) Release management
• e) Configuration management.
• g) CS know how would be needed for Treasury (Must)
• h) Understanding of Scrum Methodology/Agile.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• implementation of Build-Process
• set up Continuous Integration infrastructure, onboard projects on Continuous Integration
• Deployment of components/applications into all test environments up to Production
• Monitoring and supporting all test environments up to Production
• test support (automatic sanity checks, verification of the deployment)
• management of the different environments (IT, PTA), database (Oracle on JAP)
• management of CR (change requests on SwanXP and SNOW)
• Setup and maintenance of local deployments (WLS-Installations, e.g. CRMNET)
• Create and maintain Deployment packages
• JAP updates on ET-Unix server
• Contribution in server setup, failover concept, operational manual and System Specification
• Maintaining and supporting repositories like CVS, SVN. Project related maintenance (e.g. remove or move of projects)
• Managing and supporting Sharepoint, create and maintain Sharepoint repositories and subsites.
