Job summary

Vontobel Asset Management, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead and expand an existing client portfolio in a Zurich-based environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering integrated investment and banking solutions while deepening client relationships.

Are you passionate about the financial world and do you enjoy building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients? Our EAM desk is looking for a Relationship Manager to join their team.

What would your role be?

• Take over an existing client portfolio
• Develop new client connections, bring in existing own client relationships, and be responsible for acquiring new business from existing clients
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects by providing recommendations that encompass multiple products and services
• Develop in-depth understanding of client’s needs, preferences and overall wealth and be responsive to the changes in the business environment or clients’ needs
• Effectively manage your book of clients and act as a relationship lead accountable for the clients’ experience
• Leverage specialists, service officers and other expert resources to ensure the integrated delivery of investment fiduciary, credit, and banking solutions

What are we looking for?

• An Education in the field of finance or economics
• At least five years of experience as a Relationship Manager (experience supporting external asset managers (EAM) is an asset)
• A good network of potential customers
• A client-focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, high motivation and entrepreneurial spirit
• Solution-oriented and considerable sales and financial aptitude
• Pro-active, analytical, and structured
• A team player willing to go the extra mile and committed to delivering a consistently high service level
