Job summary

The Building Office of the Canton of Graubünden is looking immediately or by agreement for a Regional Property Facility Services Manager. Based in Chur and the surrounding regions, you will be the reference service in building matters, representing the Canton as property owner and client, and you will shape the portfolio through planning, construction and ongoing management.

Qualifications

• Completed training in a craft or technical field.
• Professional development as a facility management and maintenance manager (EPS) or willingness to undertake this training.
• Strong sense of responsibility and high awareness of quality.
• Willingness to provide support in case of technical interventions.
• Interdisciplinary thinking and an independent, solution-oriented working method.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high availability of infrastructure and cantonal buildings.
• Coordinate and plan deployment and maintenance work.
• Support property management assistants with cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Billing and controlling maintenance work related to property management in the portfolio.
• Plan and manage special tasks related to assigned properties.
• Support interventions by external service providers (e.g. craftsmen, cleaning companies).
• Active collaboration in service provision and process improvement.

Regional Property Facility Services Manager

As the reference service in building matters, the Building Office represents the interests of the Canton of Graubünden as property owner and/or client and is responsible for all property management services. Its tasks include structuring the property portfolio, planning, construction and management of properties, as well as advisory activities. We are looking immediately or by agreement for a regional property facility services manager. As the person responsible for property facility services management, you will find an open working environment in Chur as well as in the regions, interesting opportunities for professional development and a certain degree of flexibility to balance work, family and leisure time.

Tasks

• Ensuring high availability of infrastructure and cantonal buildings as well as efficient and smooth provision of necessary services
• Responsibility for coordinating, directing and planning the deployment of personnel as well as for billing and controlling maintenance work related to property management and services in the assigned portfolio
• Planning and managing special tasks related to the assigned properties
• Supporting property management assistants in training and professionally correct execution of cleaning and maintenance work of the building fabric as well as external facilities
• Supporting property management assistants in coordinating interventions by external service providers (e.g. craftsmen, cleaning companies, etc.)
• Active collaboration in service provision and continuous improvement of existing processes
