Job summary

GEA Suisse AG in Kirchberg (BE) seeks a Country Manager for Farm Technologies Austria, Switzerland & Southeast Europe. Location can be Switzerland (Kirchberg) or Austria (Vienna).

The role entails leading the country/subregion, developing strategies, and owning full P&L for ACH & SE. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, 10+ years in sales/management, fluency in German and English, and strong leadership in diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a technical discipline.
• Internationally experienced expert in sales, service, and general management; strong country sales focus.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an engineering driven environment.
• Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding leadership capabilities.
• Proven leadership competencies, including the ability to lead internationally and culturally diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Farm Technologies country/subregion organization for Austria, Switzerland & Southeast Europe (Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro & Kosovo).
• Support development of divisional strategies with local customer, market, and country insights.
• Full P&L responsibility for all GEA Farm Technologies sales and service activities in ACH & SE.
• Develop, elaborate, and implement the FT country/sales strategy; manage budgeting and execute sales & service activities.
• Support and develop the GEA FT ACH & SEE dealer network.
• Assess the financial performance of small entities compared to importer setups.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
