Qualifications

• Technical studies in chemistry or natural science are required.
• Experience working in a laboratory.
• German and English language proficiency.
• Good lab and organizational skills.
• Willingness to operate pilot-scale equipment.
• Fundamental knowledge in inorganic and organic chemistry.
• Excellent computer and software skills in Word and Excel.
• Motivation by lab work and practical experimentation.
• Excellent team spirit and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, motivated, target-oriented and multidisciplinary projects.

Responsabilités

• Chemical and physical modifications of mineral powders, e.g. grinding, precipitation, granulation.
• Work with dispersants, grinding aids, rheology modifiers in processes like wet/dry grinding, surface modification, slurry dewatering, spray drying, stabilization.
• Pilot-scale equipment operation (ball mill, glass furnace).
• Characterize materials using appropriate analytical methods.
• Test, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; document results.
• Support scientists and engineers on interdisciplinary projects.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and operating protocols.
