neustark AG invites engineering graduates to join a hands-on R&D team focused on advancing CO₂ storage solutions. You will contribute across construction, process, electrical engineering, programming, and manufacturing, performing field prototype tests and laboratory material testing.
You will help collect and interpret laboratory data, feed it into a database, and expand the storage-site model to improve performance.
To limit global warming to 1.5°C, the IPCC states that net-zero emissions must be achieved by 2050. In addition to substantial emission reductions, this goal can only be reached through the global deployment of CO₂ removal solutions at the scale of billions of tons.
Neustark is a leading provider in this rapidly growing market: we have developed a solution to store CO₂ from the air in recycled mineral waste such as demolished concrete or incineration bottom ash.
Neustark has already deployed storage site in Switzerland and across Europe, storing CO₂ from the atmosphere on a daily basis. We are currently scaling our activities to significantly increase our storage capacity.
We are an international team working primarily from Switzerland, enabling permanent CO₂ storage for a better future for all generations on our planet.
In the R&D team, we continuously work on optimizing our technology and exploring new storage approaches. You can actively contribute to the latest developments and be involved in all phases of a project, from concept idea to testing. In addition, we generate laboratory data on various material streams for other departments. We also use Python-based modeling to simulate and optimize storage site performance.
On average, 3-4 days in the Bern area and the rest flexible between our Bern or Zurich offices or home office.
