Job summary

Qualifications

• HES/ETH degree in microengineering, mechanics, micromechanics, or equivalent training.
• In-depth knowledge of electromagnetism, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes, and understanding of electronics and programming.
• Proficient in using Inventor CAD software or an equivalent tool.
• Expresses ideas simply, precisely, and concisely—both internally and when interacting with clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in both English and French with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and Translate Client Needs into Specifications: Collaborate with product and project managers to understand the client’s requirements and translate them into clear technical specs.
• Develop New Products that align with the specified requirements and follow the APQP process.
• Conduct Product Characterization Tests during development phases.
• Help achieve project targets by ensuring products meet cost, time, and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across project managers, manufacturing, quality, buyers, suppliers, sales, and clients.
• Support Product Industrialization by guiding the industrialization phase and monitoring indicators.
• Serve as the reference interface for product modifications and support production on the range.
• Conduct competitive and technological intelligence about target markets and competitors.
• Explore new concepts for customer or market challenges and propose solutions.
