Acrostak (Schweiz) AG is seeking an engineer to drive catheter design from concept to scalable production. You will collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust product development and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, data-driven decision making, and process optimization, with Swiss work authorization required and a strong medical device background.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in product/process R&D in the medical device industry.
• Experience building catheters and/or angioplasty catheters is an advantage.
• Hands-on problem solving attitude.
• Proficiency in Fusion – an advantage.
• Experience working with metals/polymers and various manufacturing methods such as laser welding, CNC machining, and surface finishes and medical coating technologies.
• Swiss work permit/European citizenship is a must.

• Developing the design of new catheters from conception to complete product.
• Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success.
• Supporting change activities in existing product lifecycles.
• Making data-driven decisions using appropriate analytical and statistical methodologies.
• Performing root cause analysis of new and existing products and processes.
