Job summary

Accelleron is seeking an innovative R&D Engineer to strengthen its efforts in developing industry‑leading compressors and turbines for turbocharger applications. You will act as a component owner within the Compressor & Turbine team, handling aerodynamic and mechanical design from pre‑engineering through to manufacturing support.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in compressor or turbine development, with strong turbomachinery

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in compressor or turbine development.
• Solid understanding of turbomachinery.
• Experience with 3D CFD tools and finite element analysis (FEA/FEM).
• Sound programming knowledge in and MATLAB.
• Familiarity with compressor or turbine testing and validation.
• Proven track record in compressor or turbine design, e.g., through patents or publications.
• Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of self‑organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English.

• Be responsible for product validation and qualification.
• Support advanced concept studies.
• Contribute to shaping the technology roadmap.

R&D Engineer (m/f/d), (80-100%)

We are looking for an innovative R&D Engineer to strengthen our efforts to develop industry‑leading compressors and turbines for turbocharger applications. The successful candidate will act as a component owner within the Compressor & Turbine team and will be responsible for both aerodynamic and mechanical design, from pre‑engineering and product development through to product maintenance and manufacturing support.
