ABB in Switzerland is seeking an experienced R&D leader to head the Control Hardware team for Medium Voltage Drives. You will guide PCBAs, electronics, FPGA solutions and auxiliary control systems, driving lifecycle ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

In this hybrid role you’ll coordinate design processes, manage the team, and drive HR development, while engaging with Product Management, Service and Product Engineering. English is essential; German is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven PCBA and electronics development experience.
• Strong project management and people leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of control hardware and firmware experts for MV drives.
• Coordinate electronics development processes: requirements, design, tests, maintenance.
• Ensure efficient collaboration with local and global R&D and engineering teams.
• Perform line management duties including hiring and HR development.
