Metlen Energy & Metals in Zug, Switzerland, seeks a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst for its International Energy Trading division. You will develop and refine models for asset valuation, pricing, and risk management to support trading decisions.

Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in a quantitative field and have strong programming skills (Rust, Python, C#, C++, VBA) with experience in external models and ETRM.

Qualifikationen

• MS/PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or related field.
• Broad knowledge of commodity markets with relevant experience preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Rust, Python, C#, C++, or VBA.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, calibrate, and validate quantitative models for asset valuation, optimization, price forecasting, and risk management.
• Analyze hedging strategies and portfolio effects; provide recommendations to traders.
• Develop and validate option pricing models; apply financial math to trading and risk decisions.
• Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to translate concepts into practical solutions.
• Develop and maintain user-focused quantitative tools for portfolio management.
