• 3+ years of experience as a gas market analyst in energy trading, utility, consultancy, or brokerage.
• Strong understanding of major European gas hubs (TTF, THE, PSV, CEGH, NBP).
• Deep knowledge of gas infrastructure and gas-to-power dynamics, renewables, and carbon pricing.

We are currently looking for a Natural Gas Analyst to join our International Energy Trading division in Zug, Switzerland.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the trading desk: building,maintaining, and refining fundamental and quantitative market models toidentifycommercial opportunities across European gas markets.

Working directly with traders, you will translate complex data into actionable insights that directlyformtrading strategies and risk management decisions.

Your role will encompass:

• Developing,maintaining, and continuously improvingshort- and long-term supply and demand models, storage forecasts, and regional flow models across key European gas hubs.
• Monitoring dailyphysical gas infrastructure dynamics, including cross-border capacity constraints, pipeline nominations, storage injection/withdrawal rates, and LNG import schedules.
• Providing traders withmarket intelligence, trade ideas, and scenario analysesto support proprietary trading decisions.
• Building and automatingdata pipelines and analytical tools, transforming complex energy data into actionable insights and user-friendly dashboards.
• Monitoringmacroeconomic, regulatory, and policy developments, including EU ETS and other factors affecting European energy balances.
• Working closely withtraders, quantitative analysts, and other teamsto translate market data and analysis into actionable trading strategies.
• Continuously improving analytical models, data quality, and processes to support a fast-paced trading environment.

What you bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experienceas a gas market analyst within an energy trading company, utility, consultancy, or commodity brokerage.
• Strong understanding of the fundamental drivers of major European gas hubs, includingTTF, THE, PSV, CEGH, and NBP.
• In-depth knowledge ofEuropean gas infrastructure, including pipeline networks, storage facilities, interconnections, and LNG regasification infrastructure.
• Understandingthegas-to-power relationship, renewable intermittency, and the impact of carbon prices on European energy markets.
• AdvancedproficiencyinPython, SQL, and Excel, with hands-on experience in data extraction, statistical modelling, and process automation.
• Experience withdata visualization toolssuch as Power BI or Tableau and relevant energy market data sources.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex, fast-moving datasets.
• Ability towork independently, communicate insights clearly, and deliver under tight deadlinesin a fast-paced trading environment.
