G-20 Group is seeking a Gold and Precious Metals Options Trader to manage a discretionary metals options portfolio. You will work with quants, researchers and developers to enhance pricing models, refine strategies, and drive superior risk-adjusted returns in a fast-paced trading environment.

Role requires a strong trading background in commodities options, robust data analysis, and proficiency with Python, Excel/VBA and SQL. Based in London with opportunities across major markets.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in commodities/precious metals options trading with pricing theory and volatility trading.
• Track record of generating profits (PnL > $2m annually) over 3+ years.

Aufgaben

• Develop and refine options trading strategies across precious metals.
• Analyze market microstructure, volatility, and skew to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to improve pricing models and hedging.
• Maintain awareness of macro drivers affecting metals and volatility markets.
• Execute trades with best execution and manage risk across listed, OTC, and physical markets.
• Manage portfolio Greeks and dynamic hedging around key data and events.
• Contribute to trading infrastructure, data pipelines and analytics.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback on strategy impact.
