Jabil Le Locle, Switzerland is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (m/f/d) for a 15-month temporary role. You will join the quality team and collaborate with production and engineering to ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes validation, CAPA/Kaizen, supplier quality interfaces, and risk assessment of manufacturing processes, with English and French fluency required.

• Serve as validation SME for new equipment, products, processes, and tests.
• Interface with suppliers to review validation activities and assess First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Create quality control documents and recommend QC tools and methods.
• Prepare First Article Inspection instructions and inspection plans.
• Assess nonconforming products and support disposition and resolutions.
• Participate in nonconformities and CAPA investigations and improvements.
• Lead product and process improvement quality efforts through CAPA and Kaizen.
• Support audits with Gemba walks and remediation actions.
• Support risk assessment of manufacturing processes.

We are looking for a new team member in the role as

Senior Quality Engineer (m/f/d)- 100%

Location: Le Locle (NE), Switzerland

Type of Contract: temporary employment – 15 months (CDD)

Startdate: ASAP

Your Responsibilities

• Be part of the quality team in Jabil Le Locle factory. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Act as validation SME for projects e.g. new equipment or new products introduction, product/process improvements/capacity increases/test methods.
• Act as quality interface with suppliers: follow-up and review validation activities, assess First Article Inspection (FAI), and ensure adequacy of measurement methods and control plans.
• Create quality control documents, and provide recommendation on quality control tools and methods.
• Prepare First Article Inspection instructions and inspection plans
• Assess nonconforming products, recommend product disposition and support in quality issues resolution etc.
• Participate in nonconformities and CAPA: investigations, product disposition, improvements, effectiveness monitoring.
• Lead product and process improvement quality efforts through CAPA and Kaizen methodology.
• Support internal and external audits preparation with Gemba walks and remediation actions.
• Support in risk assessment of manufacturing process.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality or engineering required
• Experience in ISO 13485 and 21CFR820 medical device regulated industry
• Experience in CNC and surface treatment is a plus
• Experience in production and quality system MES, SAP, ETQ, Babtec is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑interpretation skills
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methods (e.g., SPC, capability studies)
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively across teamsal
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Ability to follow established procedures and comply with safety and security requirements.
• Fluent in English and French
