Bio-Techne is seeking a dedicated Quality Control professional to join our Swiss operations in Vaud, near Lausanne, ensuring product quality across Lunaphore-related instruments and parts. You will perform visual and mechanical inspections, rigorous dimensional checks, and document controls while supporting root-cause investigations and CAPA activities in a GMP environment.

Qualifikationen

  • 5+ years in quality control in manufacturing following ISO9001.
  • Biology or lab background welcomed.
  • Experience in NC/CAPA processes.
  • Dimensional controls and technical drawing handling.
  • Hands-on with semi-automatic instruments.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word; English is essential; French a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Perform visual quality inspections on Lunaphore’s instruments and parts.
  • Conduct mechanical functional tests on Lunaphore’s instruments.
  • Perform dimensional and documentary controls on Lunaphore’s instruments, parts and accessories.
  • Carry out tissue staining procedures and evaluate staining quality.
  • Support QC and QARA in root cause investigations and CAPA.
  • Contribute to creation/ update of work instructions and continuous improvement.

Pay Range: CHF57,500 - CHF92,080 Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

Essential Duties
  • Perform visual quality inspections on Lunaphore’s instruments and accessory products including but not limited to microfluidic chips, chemical reagents, spare parts.
  • Perform mechanical functional tests on Lunaphore’s instruments.
  • Perform mechanical functional tests on Lunaphore’s accessory products and spare parts using Lunaphore’s instruments and/or other instruments.
  • Perform tissue samples staining on Lunaphore’s instruments and score the staining quality.
  • Perform dimensional controls on spare parts.
  • Perform documentary controls on Lunaphore’s instruments, accessory products and spare parts.
  • Perform functional controls of primary and secondary antibodies, including the creation of protocols, launching of the protocols on Lunaphore’s instruments and results analysis.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of QC tools.
  • Participate in the creation and investigation of non-conformities.
  • Follow the internal processes for the handling of conform and non-conform parts.
  • Support the QC and QARA Team in the root cause investigation of non-conformities.
  • This may include the performing of additional functional, visual and/or dimensional checks.
  • Contribute to the improvement and creation/redaction of new work instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects for QC department.
  • Work in accordance with the company’s procedures.
  • Ensure the good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control in manufacturing plant or industry following the ISO9001.
  • QC profiles with a biology or laboratory background are also welcome.
  • Experience in NC/CAPA process.
  • Experience in dimensional controls and technical drawing handling.
  • You are a hands‑on person, at ease with manual work and the operating of complex semi‑automatic instruments.
  • Optic know‑how is strong plus.
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices, pipetting and preparation of reagents is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes are continuously evolving.
  • Enjoys variety, multitasking, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Strong team player with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Transparent, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word programs.
  • A good command and understanding of written English, French is a plus.
