Zusammenfassung

WuXi AppTec in Neuenburg/Couvet seeks a QC Laboratory Associate to support inventory management, ordering of test supplies, and GMP-related documentation. The role includes basic lab work and analytical testing such as IR, pH, conductivity, TOC, titration, and weighing, along with archiving to maintain GMP status.

You will ensure EHS compliance, manage reagents, coordinate with suppliers, assist equipment calibration, and contribute to SOP creation and new reagent qualification.

Qualifikationen

• Federal Certificate of Capacity or Maturity in Chemistry and/or Biology.
• 1–2 years of GMP experience.
• Good knowledge and interpretation of cGMP and related regulations.
• Strong writing skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Knowledge of common office software.

Aufgaben

• Participates in inventory management and ordering of test-related supplies for GMP release.
• Performs dedicated analytical testing (IR, pH, conductivity, TOC, titration, weighing, etc.).
• Performs basic laboratory tasks (buffer prep, growth promotion testing, waste disposal, washing dishes, lab cleaning).
• Supports management in supplying consumables and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
• Supports equipment maintenance/calibration and archiving in QC Lab.
• Writes/updates standard operating procedures in the relevant field.
• Creates/verifies GMP documents and supports selection, purchase, and commissioning of reagents and consumables.
• Acts as SME for defined areas and may take on special tasks or projects.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for participating in inventory management and ordering of test-related supplies that is required for release of raw and packaging materials, final product and stability samples as well as all IPC testing. Additional responsibilities can be to perform basic laboratory work as well as the support for maintenance of dedicated equipment. As a QC team member, the person filling this position supports all activities to continuously maintain the GMP status of the QC Laboratory.

Essential Job Functions

• This position is responsible for ensuring all EHS requirements in the laboratory:




• Respect EHS procedures and rules


• Report immediately all incidents and near-misses to the management and/or to the EHS representative people




• Responsible for chemical reagents management (Ordering – Inventory)


• Performs dedicated analytical testing (IR, pH, conductivity, TOC, titration, weighing, etc.).


• Performs basic laboratory work (buffer preparation, growth promotion test, waste disposal management, washing of lab dishes, cleaning of the labs etc.


• Supports management supply of consumables.


• Supports maintenance/calibration of equipment and keeps relationship with suppliers.


• Performs archiving activities for QC Lab.


• Writes specific standard operations procedures (in his field of activity)


• Create and/or verification of GMP documents


• Supports selection, purchase and commissioning of new reagent - consumables.


• Acts as a SME for defined areas


• Can be assigned special tasks and project work

Job Requirements

Experience / Education

• Federal Certificate of Capacity or Maturity with Chemistry and/or Biology knowledge


• 1 — 2 years of work experience in a GMP environment

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Good knowledge and interpretation of cGMP and regulations applicable to the Quality Control environment


• Good writing skills.


• Excellent team spirit.


• Good knowledge in English and French.


• Knowledge of most common office software.
