Job summary

Sonova Communications in Murten, Switzerland, is seeking an experienced Design Quality Assurance professional to own and continuously improve key quality processes, with a focus on risk management and CAPA. You will act as the DQA partner for R&D product development, review design and project documentation for compliance, and support audits to maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Qualifications

• Engineering or scientific background required in electronics, mechanics, physics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Design Quality Assurance and risk management.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 a plus).
• Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, or similar product-driven industry.
• Good understanding of CAPA, product development, verification and validation processes.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French are advantageous.
• Experience with electronic document or quality management systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that verification and validation activities meet applicable quality requirements.

• Support internal and external audits and contribute to maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
• Promote a quality mindset through training, clear processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement activities.
