Zusammenfassung

Lonza Group Ltd. in Visp, Switzerland, is looking for a Manufacturing Science and Technology Expert – Drug Product (m/f/d) at 80–100%. You will lead QC projects, perform analytical testing (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF, FTIR), develop and transfer methods, and ensure GMP/cGMP compliance across QC activities.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Chemistry or related field, or Master/Bachelor with significant experience.
• Strong expertise in analytical chemistry with chromatographic methods (HPLC/GC).
• Experience in analytical method development, validation, and transfer.
• Knowledge of GMP/cGMP and ISO 9001 is advantageous.
• Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, data-driven approach.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Aufgaben

• Lead QC projects from initiation to completion with defined scope, timelines, resources and reporting.
• Perform and coordinate chemical and physical testing of materials and products using HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF and FTIR.
• Develop, validate and transfer chromatographic analytical methods per ICH and quality standards.
• Ensure GMP/cGMP compliance across QC activities and support audits.
• Coordinate investigations (OOS/OOT/OOE) and CAPA with root-cause analysis.
• Interface between QC and external contract laboratories; collaborate with R&D, Production and QA.
• Provide technical guidance to junior chemists and participate in continuous improvement.
