Job summary

Panda International is seeking a QC Analyst – Microbiology to join its GMP laboratory in Visp, Switzerland. You will perform routine microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, water, and environmental testing, applying strict aseptic techniques and supporting multiple customers and projects.

The role operates on rotating early/late/night shifts in a fast-paced environment, with strong documentation and English language skills required.

Qualifications

• Experience in microbiology laboratory testing within a GMP environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with aseptic techniques.
• Proven laboratory experience in QC or microbiology.
• Experience with bioburden and/or endotoxin testing.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple methods/projects.
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

A leading life sciences manufacturing organisation is seeking a QC Analyst – Microbiology to support ongoing microbiological testing activities within a GMP laboratory environment. In this role, you will perform routine microbiological testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, water, and environmental testing, while applying strict aseptic techniques. You will work across various methods, supporting multiple customers and projects simultaneously. The position operates on a rotating shift pattern, requiring flexibility and the ability to perform under pressure. This role offers exposure to diverse testing methods, products, and a dynamic laboratory environment.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in microbiology laboratory testing within a GMP environment
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with aseptic techniques
• Proven laboratory experience in QC or microbiology
• Experience with bioburden and/or endotoxin testing
• Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple methods/projects

Practicalities

Start Date: Ideally 1 December 2026

Location: Visp, Switzerland

Work Model: Full onsite position (shift-based)

Contract Duration: 9 months (extensions possible)

Working Hours: 41 hours per week (average)

Shift Pattern: Rotating early, late, and night shifts, including weekends
