Job summary

Swisslinx AG in Zürich is seeking a QA Logistics Specialist to support quality activities for incoming materials and ensure GMP compliance. You will oversee material verification, qualification and release activities, while maintaining data in quality systems.

The role requires coordinating supplier changes and quality alerts, handling deviations, and monitoring KPIs related to material qualification and release. Onsite work 5 days per week through Mar 15, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific field.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming material checks in line with GMP requirements.
• Coordinate qualification and release of raw materials used in manufacturing.
• Carry out physical verification of incoming materials and support their release in LIMS.
• Maintain raw material supplier information, documentation, SOPs and system data.
• Manage supplier change notifications and quality alerts related to raw materials.
• Handle deviations, CAPAs and change controls within the material management process.
• Track and maintain KPIs related to material qualification and release.
• Identify and elevate quality risks or issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure activities comply with GMP and quality requirements.

Description

As a QA Logistics Specialist, you will support quality activities related to incoming materials and ensure that raw materials used in manufacturing meet the required quality and GMP standards.

You will oversee incoming material verification, material qualification and release activities, while ensuring that all relevant information is accurately maintained within the appropriate quality systems.

Requirements

• Perform incoming material checks in line with established procedures and GMP requirements
• Coordinate the qualification and release of raw materials used in manufacturing
• Carry out physical verification of incoming materials and support their subsequent release in LIMS
• Maintain raw material supplier information, documentation, SOPs and relevant system data
• Manage supplier change notifications and quality alerts related to raw materials
• Handle deviations, change controls and other quality activities within the material management process
• Track and maintain relevant KPIs related to material qualification and release
• Identify and elevate quality risks or issues in a timely manner
• Ensure activities remain compliant with applicable GMP and quality requirements

Competences

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific field
• understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical quality systems
• Experience working with quality processes such as deviations, CAPAs and change controls
• Familiarity with SAP and LIMS is highly advantageous
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Fluent English; would be an advantage
