Zusammenfassung

Brunel Switzerland is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop, implement and verify QA requirements at the manufacturing site. You will act as main interface to Process Engineering and Operations on quality and safety topics.

Responsibilities include defining QA processes, establishing CTQ characteristics, leading non-conformance investigations and RCA, and overseeing FMEA activities. The role requires strong English communication and willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

  • Relevant experience in QA and continuous improvement.
  • BSc/MSc in Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL quality standards.

Jobbeschreibung

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for for the development, implementation and verification of the Quality Assurance requirements. Quality Assurance Engineer will act as main interface to Process Engineering and Operations for quality and safety topics. The Quality Assurance Engineer will contribute to ensure proper execution of the company Quality Program in accordance with Product Assurance Requirements at the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the QA Requirements and Culture, ensuring robust quality processes, cost excellence f
  • Define and implement Quality Assurance requirements, processes, and standards.
  • Act as the primary interface between Process Engineering and Operations for Quality & Safety topics.
  • Establish and manage Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics.
  • Lead Non-Conformance Management, failure investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Facilitate and moderate Process FMEA activities.
  • Oversee MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Test) process development and qualification.
  • Define and monitor Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability.
  • Perform quality inspections and maintain KIP/MIP documentation in accordance with Manufacturing Inspection Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
  • Translate customer CTQ requirements into internal specifications, quality documentation, and control plans.
  • Support process qualification and internal/customer audits.

Your Profile
  • Relevant experience in the field of QA and Continuous Improvement
  • BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or in a similar relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL
  • Ability to quickly understand and analyze technical products/systems and their function
  • High level of theoretical skills in relevant fields with an adeptness to coach hands-on practical elements on the floor
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Any additional language (German, French, Swedish) is a strong asset
  • Experience in the application of quality preventive methodologies (5 Why, Ishikawa Fishbone, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% nationally and internationally
