Our client, an established organisation within the aviation industry, is currently seeking an experienced Inspector – Quality Assurance to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aviation professional with a strong background in Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, Maintenance, Design and/or Production, who has a detailed understanding of applicable aviation regulations and experience working within a regulated environment.

The Role

As an Inspector – Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's Quality Assurance function across Maintenance, Production, Design Organisation and CAMO activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and company requirements, while supporting internal and external audits and maintaining a high level of quality across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Quality Assurance and Quality Inspection activities across Maintenance, Production, Design and CAMO functions.
• Ensure activities are performed in accordance with applicable company procedures, manuals, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Act as an Internal Quality Auditor and support internal, customer and authority audits.
• Prepare and maintain audit checklists, reports and associated quality documentation.
• Review, develop and update company manuals, procedures, technical instructions, forms and other controlled documentation.
• Support the development and delivery of internal training and quality briefings relating to procedures, regulations and technical subjects.
• Provide clear and detailed reporting on the organisation's current quality status.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Production teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of quality-related matters.
• Support Maintenance, Production, Design Organisation and CAMO functions with the application, extension and renewal of licences and internal authorisations.
• Assist the Quality Assurance management team with the preparation, renewal and amendment of approval certificates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation's quality processes.

About You

We are looking for an experienced aviation professional who can demonstrate:

• Several years of practical experience within the aviation industry.
• Strong experience in one or more of the following areas: Design Organisation (DO), Production Organisation (PO) and/or Maintenance Organisation (MO).
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection and/or auditing.
• An active or previous Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) would be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of applicable aviation regulations, including EASA, FAA and/or NAA requirements, together with relevant EN/ISO standards.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant EASA regulations, particularly Part-145, Part-CAMO/Part-M and/or Part-21.
• Experience preparing or reviewing manuals, handbooks, procedures, technical instructions and audit reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• French and/or German language skills would be advantageous, particularly for communication with internal teams.
