Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Machine Diagnostics Engineer (100%) to join the Flow division in Switzerland. You will lead diagnostics projects, develop monitoring solutions, and analyze vibration and acoustic data to optimize pump performance.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3–4 years of hands-on experience in machine dynamics, data acquisition, and experimental testing. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years in machine dynamics, vibration, and diagnostic methods.
• Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, and experimental campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine diagnostics projects on pump technology.
• Develop pump condition monitoring solutions and diagnostic tools.
• Analyze vibration, acoustic and dynamic test data.
• Support test beds with experimental dynamics and sensor setups.
• Perform field vibration surveys on pumps and machinery.
• Travel to test facilities or customer sites as required.
