Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd in Zurich is seeking a Project Manager Primary Engineering to lead the technical planning and execution of gas-insulated switchgear projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, clarify technical issues and drive solutions.
• Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
• Ability to work effectively within an international team environment and collaborate with other departments.
• Clear and structured communication skills, with confidence in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; German or another language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the Primary Engineering scope in GIS customer projects, including cost, schedule and scope of delivery.

• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation and commissioning until completion of on-site assembly.
