Job summary

ABB Switzerland is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of medium-size projects and coordinate efforts across internal and external resources. You will ensure adherence to procedures, standards, and targets while guiding the project team to meet requirements and deliverables.

The role includes monitoring progress, managing risks and budgets, and driving contract close-out and customer acceptance in a hybrid work setting. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic/Electrotechnical engineering (or engineering in the industrial field, with experience in electomechanical equipment).
• More than 5 years of experience as Project Manager and proven track record leading medium/high complexity projects.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure activities align with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets.
• Lead the project team to achieve requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet committed project results.
• Oversee planning, monitoring and control of internal and external resources, and manage project risk and opportunities.
• Drive contract close-out, formal acceptance, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with the contract.

Education

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

The work model for the role is hybrid.

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications For The Role
