Flybotix, based near Lausanne in Switzerland, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering and product development portfolios. You will align projects with company priorities, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

Your mission
  • Lead and oversee Flybotix's portfolio of engineering and product development projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Product, Operations, and other business functions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, deliverables, performance, budgets, risks, dependencies, and critical paths, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, management, and key stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, reporting frameworks, and documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Organise and lead project meetings, steering committees, and reviews, ensuring clear decisions, actions, and follow-up.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues, escalating critical matters when appropriate.
  • Support resource planning to optimise project delivery across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with Flybotix policies, quality standards, and project management best practices.
  • Lead project closure activities, including acceptance reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Project Management Committee and executive stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and deviations from plan.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for project management performance, ensuring alignment between project execution, business objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Report and inform regularly on project advancement, including any performance, timeline or cost deviations from project plan.
Your profile
  • Demonstrated experience in project management in engineering set-up (at least 5 years of direct experience)
  • Solid educational background with adegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with product cycles, certification standards and processes specific to drones, robotics or comparable technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and project reporting tools and practices. Ability to monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation, with confidence to elevate concerns when required.
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira or similar) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with project governance, quality assurance processes, and project lifecycle methodologies
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication (English) skills and discipline, including meeting coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
  • Proactive, well-organised, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
