Zusammenfassung

Holcim Participations (Australia) Pty Ltd in Western Australia invites experienced professionals to join our Major and Mobile Projects Division. You will assist with tendering, planning, sourcing and finalising projects in line with the business vision and goals.

Key responsibilities include pre-tender activities, evaluating procurement options, preparing documentation for stakeholders, and developing production plans to meet targets while minimising risk and ensuring safety and quality systems

Qualifikationen

• Qualification in Process, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Civil or other relevant Engineering disciplines would be highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Highly effective communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Interest in Project Management and delivering projects from infancy to completion.

About the opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity in our Major and Mobile Projects Division, in which you will be responsible for assisting with tendering, planning, sourcing and finalising projects according to the broad business vision and goals. This includes pre-tender and tendering activities, assessing procurement options and preparing documentation for both internal and external key stakeholders.

Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include:

• Ensuring safety management and systems to protect the health and safety of all people.
• Ensuring quality management systems are in place and adhered to.
• Assessing drawings and specifications for bills of material (BOMs) and constructability.
• Developing estimate and approval documentation during the tender phase of projects.
• Tendering the supply of precast products to civil infrastructure projects.
• Developing production plans in accordance with business targets.
• Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to the day-to-day operational aspects of the tender and quotation teams. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimising our exposure and risk on project/s.
• Ensuring project documents are compete, current and stored appropriately.

About you:

• Qualification in Process, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Civil or other relevant Engineering disciplines would be highly regarded.
• A sound understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles.
• Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry will be highly regarded but experience in related industries e.g. civil construction/ heavy industrial manufacturing and similar also considered.
• Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.
• Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a given and you will be helped by your ability to maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
• AutoCAD – ability to understand drawings.
