Randstad Switzerland seeks a Program Manager Mission Systems for an internationally operating defense and special vehicle technology client. You will lead end-to-end mission system programs from concept through delivery, coordinating with international clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role offers a hybrid work model (ASAP start, home office 1-2 days per week) and requires an engineering degree, several years of PM experience in industrial settings, and strong English/German skills.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering (FH/ETH/University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (ideally supplemented by further business/commercial training).
• Several years of solid experience in complex project or program management within an industrial environment (preferably defense, special vehicle manufacturing, or automotive).
• Military background is a major asset, ideally related to reconnaissance systems (RECCE) or tactical sensor systems/electronics.
• Business-fluent English (C1/C2) written and spoken; excellent German skills.
• Strong leadership, communicative, and interculturally adept with a high degree of personal responsibility and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.
• Willingness to travel worldwide (≈20%).

Aufgaben

• End-to-end responsibility for executing complex customer projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Monitoring financial KPIs, conducting risk analyses, and managing change processes, including regular management reporting.

In this key role, you will assume overall responsibility for the successful planning, control, and execution of demanding, customer-specific mission system programs from concept through delivery.

Requirements
