For our client, a highly specialized, internationally operating technology company in defense and special vehicle construction, we are seeking an assertive and strategically minded Program Manager Mission Systems.
In this key role, you will assume overall responsibility for the successful planning, control, and execution of demanding, customer-specific mission system programs from concept through delivery.

- Home Office: possible, 1-2 days in a week

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Program & Project Management: End-to-end responsibility for executing complex customer projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Cost & Risk Management: Monitoring financial KPIs, conducting risk analyses, and managing change processes, including regular management reporting.
- Interface Coordination: Active leadership, negotiation, and alignment with international clients, key suppliers, and internal departments.
- Contractual Compliance: Ensuring full, contractually compliant fulfillment of all agreed performance and system requirements.
- Process Optimization: Continuous development and refining of internal standards in project and program execution.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Engineering (FH/ETH/University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (ideally supplemented by further business/commercial training).
- Professional Experience: Several years of solid experience in complex project or program management within an industrial environment (preferably defense, special vehicle manufacturing, or automotive).
- Industry Expertise: A military background is a major asset, ideally related to reconnaissance systems (RECCE) or tactical sensor systems/electronics.
- Languages: Business-fluent English (C1/C2 level) written and spoken; excellent German skills.
- Personality: Strong leadership, communicative, and interculturally adept personality with a high degree of personal responsibility and a pragmatic, hands‑on mindset.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 20%).
