To develop learning methods, theories, and practices in the field of digital spacesand to strengthen education and research in this field

To secure externally funded research projects, author academic publications; communicate research findings through conferences, festivals and exhibitions

Play an active role in the strategic development of the BA degree programme, including fostering links between research and teaching at the whole school and university

To position and establish a network for the Digital Spaces sector within a regional and international context

To expand collaborations with industry partners

Your profile

You hold a master’s degree (MA) and, ideally a PhD, or have several years comparable research experience in a design discipline or related field.

Furthermore, you meet the following criteria:

You will have a proven track record of several years’ research and teaching experience, particularly in one or more of the following areas: Interaction Design, Critical Media, Digital Social Spaces, Digital Scenography, Generative AI, OSINT, UX/UI Design, Signage, Data Literacy,Digital Cultures and Technologies.

You have an established research network, can demonstrate high-quality research output, and have already successfully secured external funding for research projects.

You have experience of innovative teaching methods and of delivering high-quality, research-led and practice-oriented teaching.

You have excellent communication and organisational skills.

You hold a qualification in higher education teaching didactics or are willing to obtain one during your first few years of employment.

You possess excellent and English language skills in both spoken and written form.
