Job summary

FHNW invites applications for a professorship in Digital Spaces to bridge research and education across our BA degree programme. The role focuses on developing methods, theories and practices in digital spaces, and expanding collaborations with industry partners.

You will lead research, secure external funding, publish, and contribute to teaching with innovative methods. Fluency in German and English, a master's (PhD preferred) and a strong track record in Interaction Design or related areas are

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD ideal, or extensive research in a design field.
• Proven track record in research and teaching in one or more listed areas.
• Established research network with external funding success.

Responsibilities

• Develop learning methods and practices in digital spaces.
• Secure externally funded research projects and publish findings.
• Lead strategic development of the BA degree program.
• Strengthen regional and international networks in Digital Spaces.
• Expand collaborations with industry partners.
