Sunflower Labs in Zurich-Stallikon is seeking a hands-on Production Technician / Assembly & Test Technician. The role involves assembling, inspecting, configuring and testing drones and base stations for the Beehive drone-in-a-box system.

Training is provided and candidates with basic technical knowledge and good hands-on skills are encouraged to apply. Key tasks include building subassemblies, following assembly drawings and test procedures, performing pass/fail tests and maintaining quality

Qualifikationen

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with screws, fasteners, dimensions and torque.
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Basic understanding of electronics and safe handling of components.
• Experience with documentation and test records.
• Good written and spoken English; valid Switzerland work authorization.

Aufgaben

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts for drones and base stations.
• Build subassemblies and final drone/base-station systems.
• Prepare parts, tools and workstations for production.
• Follow drawings, assembly instructions and test procedures.
• Inspect mechanical parts and electronic components for quality.
• Check screws, fasteners and parts using basic measuring tools.
• Use torque tools and a multimeter according to instructions.

We are looking for a hands-on Production Technician / Assembly & Test Technician to join our production team in Zurich-Stallikon.

You will assemble, inspect, configure and test drones and base stations for our Beehive drone-in-a-box system. This role is suitable for someone with basic technical knowledge, good hands-on skills and a careful working style.

We are ready to train the right person.

Bonus Points

• Polymechanic EFZ, automation technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician or similar qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in production, assembly, workshop, electronics or technical service work is helpful.
• Experience with drones, RC models, robotics or electronics projects is welcome, as well as experience with ESD-safe handling, crimping, soldering, cable assembly or connector work.
• Basic German skills are a plus.
