Zusammenfassung

Voliro, a Zurich-based robotics startup, is seeking a UAV Technician (80%-100%) to join our growing manufacturing team. You will assemble, test, and validate our flying drones, performing end-of-line testing, soldering, and integration of mechatronic subsystems to meet the highest quality standards for industrial inspections.

You will bring hands-on craftsmanship across electronics, mechanics, and Linux-based workflows, with 3+ years in related roles.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with electronics, mechanics and integrated systems, including soldering.
• Precise, thorough, hands-on problem-solving with autonomous work style.
• Proactive, goal-driven, structured and independent.
• English fluency; German a plus.
• Driver's license CH-Cat. B.

UAV Technician [80%-100%]

Your role

We need your help to meet the growing demand for our flying robots. As a UAV Technician, you will focus on assembling and testing new drones and getting them off the ground.

Your responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, and repair drones and equipment
• Soldering and testing of mechatronic systems
• Test-flying our novel drones
• End-of-line testing and incoming goods inspections
• Operating different tools, test benches & jigs (training will be provided)
• Keeping the workplace clean and highly organized
• Contribution to further development of our manufacturing, assembly, and test procedures

Your profile

• Excellent craftsmanship with hands-on experience with electronics, mechanics, and integrated systems, including soldering
• Your work is precise, thorough, and diligent with a hands-on problem-solving attitude
• You demonstrate a proactive work ethic: goal-driven, independent, and structured
• Entrepreneurial thinker with a proactive and pragmatic mentality, hands-on and problem-solving attitude
• Team player, open-minded, autonomous, goal-oriented, and highly motivated
• Driving license CH-Cat. B
• Good command of spoken and written English, German as a plus

An outstanding candidate will also bring some of the following:

• Knowledge of drone design and building
• Drone piloting experience
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot HW/SW systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
• Technical degree with proven craftsmanship.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant positions.
• Experience working on both mechanical & electrical systems
• Experience working with Linux
