Power-Integrations in Biel, Switzerland, seeks an assembler for PCBA prototypes and inventory maintenance. You will handle SMT and THT assembly, hand soldering, and machine maintenance while ensuring accuracy in warehousing and shipping.

The role requires German language skills; English is a plus. A hands-on, precise approach to 5S and continuous improvement is essential for daily operations in this site.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of work experience in SMT/THT assembly.
• EFZ or equivalent qualification.

Aufgaben

• On time delivery of IPOs including picking, preparation, assembly.
• Maintain components, semi-finished and finished goods in Warehouse Biel; sourcing and cycle counting.
• 5S in production and warehouse; packaging and shipping of outputs.
• Continuous improvement approach on a daily basis.

Objective of the role:

Assembly and modification of PCBA prototypes for internal and external use. Maintenance of inventory and Machines. Receipt and dispatch of packages.

Education and work experience:

• Production experience in the field of SMT and THT assembly
• EFZ or similar qualification (e.g. Automatiker, Elektroniker)
• 3-5 years of work experience

Professional expertise:

• SMT assembly with prototype machine
• Hand soldering of PCBA (SMT and THT)
• Inventory maintenance of electronic components
• Maintenance of Machine equipment
• Computer user knowledge
• Basic knowledge of IPC A-610

Soft skills:

• Good dexterity to work with small components
• Hands‑on mentality
• Speak and write German
• English is an advantage

Main Responsibilities:
