Job summary

Microcaps AG in Worben (BE) seeks an Operator for Production Plants to run and monitor the production line on a shift basis, ensuring clean operation, material flow, and process parameter control. You will coordinate with teams to improve efficiency and document work instructions and in-process checks.

Applicants should have 3–5 years GMP production experience or an equivalent technical background, strong safety awareness, and good English (B2+) with some German (B1+) advantage.

Qualifications

• Completed training with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ), ideally as a polymechanic, production mechanic, plant operator, or in a comparable technical profession.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in GMP-regulated production environment in the food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries, or related fields.
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of operating, maintaining, and optimizing state-of-the-art equipment.
• Willingness to work in shifts (early and late).
• Team-oriented and communicative working style within process teams and shop floor management.

Responsibilities

• Independent operation, monitoring, and cleaning of your production plant.
• Coordinating and supporting the supply of necessary raw materials and the production of intermediates.
• Teamwork with the industrialization team to fine-tune the process parameters.
• Precise execution and documentation of work instructions & in-process controls.
• Support troubleshooting of out-of-spec productions with Quality & Development Team.
• Troubleshooting and execution of minor repairs & maintenance work.
• Process and plant optimization including reduction of waste within LEAN and shop floor management.
• Compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
