LEMO GROUP in Ecublens, Switzerland, seeks a Product Development Project Manager to lead strategic new product development from concept to market launch, within Sales & Marketing with a PMO reporting line.

You will manage full lifecycle, align stakeholders, drive design, validation, industrialisation and launch, ensuring quality, cost, on-time delivery and risk management while coordinating cross-functional teams across subsidiaries.

Qualifikationen

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As part of Sales & Marketing, with a functional reporting line to the Project Management Office (PMO), you will lead strategic new product development projects, from initial concept through to market launch.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, objectives, planning, resource allocation, stakeholder alignment, and progress tracking.
• Align technical, industrial, and commercial stakeholders around a shared vision, clear priorities, and high-performance standards.
• Drive key development phases — design, validation, industrialisation, and launch — ensuring quality, cost, timely delivery, and effective risk management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across subsidiaries and functions (industrialisation, supply chain, production, marketing, and sales) to meet common objectives.
• Ensure compliance with product and quality requirements, including needs analysis, application of the FMEA methodology, and the definition of test and validation plans in collaboration with the testing laboratory and Quality Department.
• Provide clear and structured reporting to management, in line with stage-gate processes, highlighting progress, trade-offs, and key decisions required to secure project success.
• Contribute to the prioritisation and management of the global product development project portfolio.
• Actively support the continuous improvement of PM practices, tools, and methodologies within the PMO.

PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Engineering (microtechnology, mechanical engineering, materials science, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in similar roles within product development project management, ideally in an industrial or microtechnology environment involved in demanding market segments (e.g. Medical).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and successfully lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise, anticipate risks, and solve problems efficiently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Results-driven and passionate about turning new product ideas into successful market launches.

You will stand out if you have:

• Experience with project management tools, particularly Clarizen / AdaptiveWork
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 standards
• Understanding of the competitive landscape, target market, and customer needs
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret technical documentation, especially related to electrical connectors / Experience with CAD software
