Green, the leading data centre provider in Switzerland, is expanding its procurement team in Zürich. We seek a committed professional to shape procurement activities across construction, infrastructure, and datacentre projects.

You will develop strategies for defined product groups, handle tenders and contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-efficient, timely procurement while working closely with internal stakeholders. Travel occasionally may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical, commercial, or comparable education with further training in procurement.
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in project environments.
• Experience in tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a structured way of working.
• Excellent German and good English communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business.

To strengthen our procurement team, we are looking for a committed individual to actively shape our procurement activities in demanding construction, infrastructure, and datacentre projects.

Your area of responsibility

• Development and implementation of procurement strategies for defined product groups in construction, mechanics, services, and security
• Responsibility for tenders, offer comparisons, as well as price and contract negotiations
• Management of strategic purchasing for new, expansion, and modernisation projects of our datacentres
• Ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of materials and services
• Building and further developing long-term supplier relationships
• Conducting market analyses and identifying savings and optimisation potentials
• Active contract and supplier management including performance and quality monitoring
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and service providers

Your skills

• Completed technical, commercial, or comparable education with further training in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in project environments or technical industries
• Experience in tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier management
  Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured way of working
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a high degree of initiative
  Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with diverse stakeholders
• Very good German and good English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business
