Zusammenfassung

Omya is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process optimization and operational excellence across suspended mineral and wet processing operations. You will provide process engineering leadership for capital projects, including design, flowsheets, equipment specs, commissioning, and performance validation.

Role involves scaling up new products and technologies, analyzing performance with advanced analytics, and driving digital process monitoring.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Minerals Processing, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical processing, mineral processing, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of wet processing operations and process scale-up.
• Experience supporting CAPEX projects and commissioning activities.
• Experience with advanced data analytics, digital process monitoring, process modelling, machine learning applications, simulation software, or advanced process control is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)

• Develop and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and process documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and plant teams.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives through improved resource utilization, water management, energy efficiency, and process reliability.

Experience In One Or More Of The Following Areas

• Precipitation and mineralization processes
• Slurry preparation and handling systems
• Media stirred mills and wet grinding technologies
• Flotation, filtration, thickening, and dewatering
