Job summary

GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to safeguard incoming materials at a GMP manufacturing site. You will oversee supplier qualifications, material checks, and deviation/change control processes within a global, multicultural team.

Fluency in English is required; German is a plus. The role emphasizes data-driven KPI tracking, LIMS usage, and ensuring compliant material release in line with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or similar.
• 3-6 years in quality assurance.
• Sound knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical quality management systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and LIMS.
• Practical use of quality tools: deviations, CAPA, change control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming material checks in line with site procedures.
• Handle the qualification of materials used in manufacturing, including physical inspection on receipt and release in LIMS.
• Set up and maintain the raw material supplier base, related SOPs and quality systems.
• Process change notifications and quality alerts from suppliers and other sites of the group.
• Own material-related deviations and change controls.
• Track and report KPIs on material qualification and release activities.
• Escalate critical material quality issues promptly, always in compliance with GMP.
