Job summary

Partners Group invites high-potential students to join its Private Equity Directs, Services team for a 6-month internship beginning January 2027. You will support the buy-out team across sourcing, execution, and portfolio management, helping assess opportunities and contribute to due diligence.

The role emphasizes analytical work, financial modeling, and collaboration with international teams. Strong STEM background and language skills are valued for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Top performing student in final phase of study
• Major in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
• Ideally some exposure to PE, M&A, strategy consulting, leveraged finance or transaction services
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork in international settings and languages

Responsibilities

• Assessing and valuing prospective investment opportunities
• Modeling business plans, LBO structures and investment returns
• Participating in due diligence workstreams across financial, commercial, ESG, tax and legal
• Drafting internal investment recommendation documents
• Sourcing, market research, and product reporting and marketing tasks
