Job summary

Schroders is seeking a Working Student in Private Equity Investment in Zurich for 12 months at 40–50% allocation, starting Jan/Feb 2027. You will assist in origination, evaluation, structuring and execution of European private equity investments across primary fund investments, direct/co-investments and GP-led secondaries.

You will work with Schroders Capital's global private equity team (15-person European team) and collaborate with investment professionals, in-house legal and finance, and

Qualifications

• Enrolled student at a university or applied sciences.
• Excellent academic background.
• Experience in M&A, Project Finance, Private Equity or Consulting is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; a further European language is a plus.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing prequalification and investment recommendation documents for the investment committee.
• Preparing quarterly reports and customized client reporting documents.
• Assisting in dealflow capturing and product management requests.
