UBP – Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva seeks a motivated Private Equity intern to join the Private Markets Group for six months. You will participate in screening, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments in private equity funds and co-investments, and support discretionary private markets mandates.

Use strong financial modelling and analysis, contribute to pitches, maintain investment databases, and help prepare investment memos for the Investment Committee while gaining exposure

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field with strong academics.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Previous internship/experience in PE, IB, consulting or corporate finance preferred.

Mission

Within UBP, the Private Markets Group (PMG) is in charge of sourcing and introducing private markets opportunities to the UHNWI and institutional clients of the bank across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Real Estate. Since the team was launched in 2015, we have deployed over USD 5 billion in to more than 90 investments.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join the team responsible for the selection of private equity funds, private equity co-investments, as well as the management of discretionary private markets mandates for high profile clients. The internship is for a period of 6 months.

The Private Equity intern will actively participate in the screening, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments in private equity funds and co-investments. They will also be highly involved in the management of discretionary private markets mandates and pitching for new mandates.

Main responsibilities

• Screen and analyse new investment opportunities in private equity and occasionally private infrastructure

Your Profile

• Bachelors degree obtained (or close to being obtained) in business administration, finance, economics or related field with outstanding academic credentials
• Technical skills: Strong analytical skills, financial modelling skills, solid understanding of financial concepts
• Language: Fluency in English and French
• Previous experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, or corporate finance is preferred
