Lonza in Basel/St. region seeks an Associate Principal Scientist in Bioanalytics to lead pharmaceutical development projects within Development Bioanalytics (DevBA). You will steer work packages, deliver analytical results, and ensure on-time closeout and reporting for diverse modalities.

The role requires a PhD in life sciences, expertise in CBA and analytical methods, and excellent communication. English fluency is essential; other languages are a Plus.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Science, or related Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Bio-Pharma as a researcher or technical expert with potency assays for modalities.
• Strong setup, optimization, transfer and troubleshooting of cell-based assays (CBA).
• Broad knowledge of analytical techniques including mammalian cell culture and ligand-binding assays (ELISA, enzyme assays, SPR).
• Good knowledge of analytical method guidelines (ICH Q14 / Q2).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability and ability to handle complexity.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage pharmaceutical development projects within Development Bioanalytics (DevBA).
• Deliver work packages on time, provide analytical results and reports.
• Independently address risks and resolve issues with timely communication to stakeholders.
• Represent DevBA in Lonza internal and customer meetings as SME.
• Support stakeholders to maintain planning tools.
