Universitätsspital Zürich USZ invites applications for an experienced postdoctoral researcher to advance an interdisciplinary Gender Medicine program at the intersection of population health, clinical evidence generation and data analytics.

The role focuses on leading high-impact, quantitative projects, building scalable data pipelines, and translating findings into publications and policy outputs. English communication is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• We are seeking a PhD/MD-PhD or equivalent in a quantitative health field.
• Postdoctoral experience or readiness to lead funded projects.
• Strong publication record with first-author papers or preprints.
• Excellent quantitative and data-science skills, incl. R and Python and reproducible workflows.
• Experience with large, complex datasets (population health, clinical, registry, etc.).
• Interest in sex- and gender-sensitive medicine, health equity and translation to impact.
• Grant writing, project coordination or team leadership desirable.
• Excellent written and oral English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead interdisciplinary research projects on sex- and gender-sensitive medicine.
• Build and apply large-scale, reproducible data pipelines.
• Use quantitative methods including epidemiology, biostatistics, ML, NLP and causal inference.
• Translate findings into publications, policy briefs and stakeholder outputs.
• Contribute to grant applications and establish funded research programs.
• Coordinate collaborations across UZH, USZ and partners.
• Mentor doctoral, medical, and master's students.
• Contribute to teaching in Gender Medicine, public health and data science.
• Support open science with documentation and data governance.
