Qualifikationen

• Degree or technical education in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, computer science, or related field.
• Experience in PLC software development, ideally with Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Good understanding of industrial communication systems such as EtherCAT, OPC UA, MQTT.
• High interest in modern industrial automation and connected manufacturing systems.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Willingness to work close to real machines and production systems.
• Structured and solution-oriented; independent work style; strong German and English communication.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain PLC software for automated storage and intralogistics using Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Implement machine control for storage/intralogistics systems interfacing with laser/bending cells and higher-level software.
• Support configurable and reusable software architectures for modular machine systems.
• Participate in commissioning and testing in-house and at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows, machine sequences, and communication systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, HMI, and software engineers in cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to modern industrial connectivity using MQTT and OPC UA.
• Support improvements in software quality, diagnostics, and maintainability.
