Zusammenfassung

Cubiq Recruitment is seeking an Automation Engineer – Beckhoff TwinCAT to own the PLC and machine-control software for a high-precision robotic manufacturing platform in Switzerland. You will drive the architecture, implement modular PLC code, and integrate motion, sensors and actuators across multiple machines.

You will collaborate with hardware, software and physics teams, commission and debug on-site, and scale the platform from prototype to commercial production.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years hands-on Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 experience.
• Experience writing object-oriented PLC software, not just procedural logic.
• Strong Structured Text, HMI development and EtherCAT familiarity.
• Practical experience commissioning and debugging real industrial machinery.
• Experience integrating sensors, actuators, servo drives, motion systems or other industrial hardware.
• Ability to diagnose across software and physical machinery.
• Comfort with technical ownership without a large automation team.

Aufgaben

• Develop and extend Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 machine-control software.
• Build modular, object-oriented PLC architectures for multiple hardware platforms.
• Develop machine logic and HMI functionality.
• Integrate hardware through EtherCAT and motion systems.
• Commission, debug and validate hardware and software in machines.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, electronics and hardware.
• Support new machine modules, upgrades and customer installations.
• Improve testing, diagnostics, reliability and maintainability as platforms scale.
